It is with deep sadness we announce on Saturday, May 09, 2020, Andrew “Andy” Kosturik passed away at the Jewish General Hospital, at the age of 82. Born in Franklin, he was a reliable employee for Crown Metal Packaging for 40 years. Above all else family was Andy’s pride and always his first priority. He cherished time spent with family & friends and fond memories. Andy was a man with great integrity, truly genuine and sincere. He was always happy to lend a helping hand with a heart of gold. A devoted husband, Dad and Grampy, he will be forever in our hearts and missed by his loving wife of 57 years Heather (nee Currie), his children who cherish their amazing father, Steve (Madeleine), Brent (Isabelle) and Brigette (Tass). His Grandchildren, who he was lovingly dedicated to; Delaney, Morgan, Keenan and Lucinda who always brought a smile to his face and in his heart. He is survived by his brother John (Pat) and sister Mary (Harold) nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Michael and mother Mary, brothers Vlady and Mike, sister Irene. Andy’s life celebration and burial will be held at a later date. A grateful and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sirhan and the incredible medical team including the compassionate palliative care unit at the Jewish General Hospital.
