Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Our deepest sympathies.
Our sincere sympathy on the death of your mother
Kim and Family. Keeping you in you prayers. Your Mom was a great lady and family friend. We used to love curling with your Mom and Dad.
We met Madeleine and Leo in the waiting room of the eye dep't at the Jewish General. I had a detached retina, and had my head down. Perhaps she sensed my tension, and she came over to me and assured me I was in good hands., that she had suffered one as well and was on the road to recovery. After chatting awhile, we realized we were "neighbours", both from the Valley. She gave me hope, support, and assurance at a time I was anxious and certain I was going to lose my sight in that eye. We have never forgotten her kindness and encouragement.
So sorry for your loss; sending hugs. I loved her wit and her sense of timing on delivery of said wit - a real down homer for sure. My Dad always had a laugh with her and you could see the ease between her and many people of the valley.
Kim & Family - Madeline was a warm and loving Aunt. We will cherish our memories of her and her great hugs!

Remembering Maddie from my time in ministry with Huntingdon United. She was always active on committees and willing to lend a hand to projects. I particularly remember her involvement as an assigned mentor for one of our young folks as she journeyed to a profession of faith at confirmation. We connected around our New Brunswick roots. My sympathy to you all as you remember her sense of fun and her lively wit. May God's love surround you at this time.
