Sorry to learn about Marcel, a man of gentleness and sincerity. When I coached Malone Minor Hockey he volunteered to help, and help he did. He knew much more about hockey than I and had a wonderful rapport with the kids who loved him, as did I.
His passion for hockey was inspiring and fun. I fondly recall him twirling around all Malone’s young “studs” with astounding agility and grace. Nobody had to say how much better he was, they just knew.
I learned a lot from Marcel, not only about hockey, but how to be truly a gentleman. And, while I never improved my French as well as he said I could, I still practice like he suggested and strongly believe that he influenced me in ensuring that my daughter became fluent.
Au revoir, mon ami.

Dear Nancy and family members, so glad we were acquainted with such an admirable man. You never have enough time with those you really care about.there is no time in Heaven but eternity where I hope and pray he will be one of the first to greet us and where there will never be such partings.Praying for all of you that The Sacred Heart of Jesus And the Sorrowful Heart of Mary be of great comfort to you now and forever. God Bless , it was a blessed and happy privilege to know your Dad.
Dear Nancy and family,
I am sorry to read about Marcel. He was a true gentleman and always had the best sense of humor.
He lived a great life on this side of the world, so may he now rest in peace with his loving wife, Jeannine by his side in heaven.
With Sympathy and prayers,
Janine Paddock
Dear family, even though we knew Marcel’s health was deteriorating the last couple of years, we were surprised and greatly saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a good neighbor and we always enjoyed our conversations with him. May you take comfort in knowing ours was one of many lives he touched in such a positive way. Rest In Peace Marcel. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim and Trudi Dora

Nous sommes de tout coeur avec vous ! Nos prières vous accompagnent !
I only learned of Marcel's passing on December 14. I knew Marcel when he lived in Newton, NJ. We were fellow Amateur Radio operators and shared many hours of enjoyment in the Hobby. When he moved to Malone NY I lost contact with him but still feel the loss of a nice person after all these years. My deepest Sympathies to the family...
