I was so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. Yesterday on Halloween Day at Jaanimmarik School in Kuujjuaq , I wore to school the 4 Halloween pins she made for me decades ago. Many adults and kids asked me about the pins and I shared some fond memories of Susan with her students , with me and other friends. It was great to look back and smile !!

So many memories since 1972. Susan cruising Kuujjuaq on her 3-wheel honda, babysitting each others cats, traveling across Canada, her infectious laughter that brought tears to your eyes, and meeting the McNicol family. Susan will not be forgotten.

Shed some tears upon hearing the news. We had some fun times chit-chatting and joking around. Will miss her fierce and simultaneously tender spirit. I loved Susan's inner strength, sense of humour, sharp wit and zappy one-liners. Her craft tables at the Xmas Bazaar, Halloween, Valentine's Day and other events were a feast for the eyes. Sympathies to her family. Rest in Peace Dear Susan xoxox
