I was sorry to read of the passing of Mr. Zeldenrust, who was an influential adult to me as a child living then on Wellington Street in Huntingdon. My siblings and I played hide-and-seek in the neighborhood yards between our two houses with Brian, Diane, and maybe Sharon who was quite little then (Wesley just a baby). Their house had a great porch and their Mom made yummy snacks. Mr. Zeldenrust fitted me for my first pair of glasses when I was twelve, and he seemed so wise, patient, kind and professional in his office! I have lovely memories of George Zeldenrust and his family from those years, long forgotten until I saw his obituary in the paper, and it all came back. My sincere condolences to the family.
