Norman Patenaude April 5, 1942 – December 22, 2025 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Norman Patenaude, who passed away peacefully in Huntingdon on December 22, 2025, at the age of 83. Norman was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Murphy; his parents, Louis Patenaude and Emilie Vaillancourt; his brothers Clarence, Francis, Lawrence, Ross, John, Ronnie, Harry, and Roger; and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving son, Mark Patenaude, and Mark’s wife, Rachel, who were a great source of pride and comfort to him. He is also survived by his brothers Willie and Cecil (Susan); his sisters Margaret, Marjorie, Beatrice, Elise, Rita (Donnie), Carol (Gus), and Nancy (Kim); as well as many nieces and nephews he loved dearly, extended family members, and many friends. Norman will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. at Rodrigue Montpetit et Fils Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, date to be determined.
